Like many of us David Wilson is in his mid 50s and was brought up on early Tamla, Northern and Crossover Soul.
Throughout the 70s and early 80s David spent most of his time at the Central Soul Club in Leeds and occasionally Wigan Casino,
his favorite artists been, Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield.
8 years ago the purchase of a i pod re started Davids love of Soul music and he is now a keen member of Wakefield City Soul club.
This mix "Moving On "has a mixture of old and new material and signifys the roots of Club Soul as well as the new emerging artists
like Cee Lo Green.This mix gives you a flavor of the music currently been played out in Yorkshire Soul Clubs I hope you enjoy it, Feed back is gratefully accepted.
